Seems like it should be so easy to be mindful in our lives. However, perhaps especially during the holiday season, our minds are everywhere except on the task at hand. We're multitasking, thinking about what else we should be doing, trying to micromanage others (or at least wishing we could).... It's no wonder we feel overwhelmed and stressed. By practicing mindfulness we can let go of a lot of those stresses. It helps to try mindfully doing a task a day, and each day spending a little more time being mindful. Even just following your breath as you attempt each task will help keep you calm.
