Dealing With Emotions Sober

One of the challenges of recovery is learning to deal with emotions sober. From "Emmanuel's Book" comes the following excerpt,"Anger is a protective device. It is quite enough to experience your anger. Nothing more be done with it. Underneath anger is always fear and underneath fear is always longing." Through practice we can learn to live with our emotions, but not let them control us.
